Ian was born and raised in Great Britain and since 1994 has lived in Eastern Europe, mainly in Poland and Romania. He currently lives in Bucharest with his wife and baby daughter.
He spent a large part of his early career as a financial auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers before moving into training and development. He now works as a consultant, group facilitator and executive coach. His business experience and subsequent exploration of personal development across a very broad spectrum allows him to approach his work from many different perspectives.
He is a Certified Trainer in Nonviolent Communication and is trained as a Coach and Mediator. His work stems from a deep belief in humanity and the inherent good in all of us. He also appreciates great questions that encourage exploration and growth.
In his free time he works on an NVC site called NVC World, reads, watches films and listens to music. Sometimes he's even been known to put on a pair of running shoes and go joggin!
